Baby Your Skin With Lav-Oat Vegan Soap
There is no excuse for using products chock-full of chemicals. When I was pregnant with my twins 4 years ago, I became more aware of playing it safe with my skin care that I ended up making body scrubs and lotions instead of store bought products with who knows what in it. Your skin is your largest organ – you may hear me say this often. Why put anything on it that you wouldn’t eat?
While I firmly believe in some better living through chemistry, but there is something to be said for the pure simplicity of simple and natural soaps to be used daily on your skin. The feedback I get from fellow Mom’s are that their skin is less itchy and weird issues such as blotches have disappeared! The Lavender-Oat is hands down our most popular and therapeutic. It’s the one pictured here with my 3.5 year old in the tub. Oatmeal is beyond moisturizing for the skin and lavender naturally disinfects. Not to mention, lavender is so calming which makes this ideal to use at bedtime. My kids love it and it makes bath time so much more fun than using a liquid soap loaded with crap chemicals. I could go on and on about how The Honest Company (Jessica Alba’s big-box brand) is UN-honest filled with skin irritants, unnecessary chemical preservatives, and other misleading claims.
Our vegan soaps are made with simple ingredients. You can pronounce all of them. They are filled with lovely oils – a blend of olive, coconut, and sustainable palm oil. We are proud to source all of our lavender buds locally from our backyard or Northern Michigan’s lavender farms. I am a total etymology geek and would like to note that the root word of lavender is ‘lavare’ which means to wash. Wash up with the best ingredients around!
Our mini Christmas Tree soaps make great stocking stuffers and they are now available for sale on our webpage. You can also email us directly for custom orders where we can individually wrap and label them for you. They are also excellent for kids to play around with in the bath tub. It makes it fun and gets them in on the action on cleanliness while being safe and gentle on their baby skin!
